Recently, while visiting NYC, we stopped at Hibachi Grill & Buffet in New Jersey, and it exceeded all expectations. The selection was impressive, with plenty of fresh and delicious options to choose from. The highlight for me was the beef—it was incredibly tender, flavorful, and literally melted in my mouth. Every dish we tried was fresh, well-prepared, and constantly replenished. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the overall dining experience was excellent. If I’m ever back in New Jersey, this will definitely be one of my first stops. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great buffet with quality food and plenty of variety!

Had a really great experience at Hibachi Buffet! The variety of food was impressive — from fresh sushi and flavorful hibachi grill options to classic comfort dishes and desserts. Everything was well-stocked and tasted fresh. The hibachi station was definitely the highlight — you can customize your plate and watch it being cooked right in front of you, which makes it both fun and delicious. The staff were attentive and kept the place clean, even during busy hours.

I found it a bit crowdy when I visited the restaurant. There was a long wait for about 20 minutes due to weekend I guess. But food taste was outstanding for me, we all loved the food items and the taste. I have been to few buffet restaurants but Hibachi grill beat them all in food taste.

Excellent food, great variety, and friendly staff. All at an amazing price! Staff kept asking if we wanted a refill, and I thought they were trying to upsell! Then one of the waitresses told us that the refill was free!!!

One of NJ’s last great pan-Asian AYCE buffets, this place looks straight out of the nineties and tastes way better than any buffet you may remember from back then. Phenomenal variety, attentive service, and damn good food. Stuff your face as much as you want for twenty bucks flat (including free refills), before taxes. My favorites—along with their signature pick your own hibachi platter, which by itself makes the $20 worth it—include the coconut shrimp, the baked clams, the chicken and broccoli, the grilled chicken, the crab rangoons, and the ebi sushi.
